"Times are tough. I've been unemployed for over a year. Even though I wish I didn't need help, I do. I have a grandson to feed, and it's wonderful to have support from Second Harvest."

"I had no idea how great an impact Second Harvest Food Bank would have on my children. They now look forward to volunteering Thursday nights during Family Night, and they want to go work as often as possible."

"Having the support and partnership with Second Harvest has allowed us, Catholic Charities, the ability to provide more direct assistance to those in need. The $500 grant to each of our programs, Loaves and Fishes and North Nashville, was such a blessing, both necessary and appreciated. In addition each of these programs was provided with freezers. Most don’t realize how essential items such as a freezer can become when you provide food. The freezers would not be an item we would be able to purchase except for the generosity of Second Harvest. Thank You seems like such a simple phrase when your work enables us the ability to serve the less fortunate."
