Thank you for your interest in becoming a Partner Agency.

Second Harvest has more than 460 Partner Agencies located throughout our 46-county service area in Middle and West Tennessee.

Partner Agencies receive food directly from Second Harvest for distribution in their communities. A Partner Agency is a non-profit agency or church that has completed the application process and met specific requirements in order to receive food from, and partner with, Second Harvest.

Partner Agencies include food pantries, meal sites, shelters, senior centers, and youth programs. Partner Agencies may order food through AgencyLink, our online ordering system, and receive it through one of our many Rural Route delivery options or pick up their order at a Second Harvest distribution center. Partner Agencies may also receive food by visiting The Market at each of our Second Harvest distribution centers.

Becoming a Partner Agency saves organizations valuable money and time, which allows them to apply those scarce resources to serving their clients. Participation as a Partner Agency is limited to churches that meet requirements or 501c3, tax-exempt organizations incorporated for the primary purpose of serving the food insecure, ill, or children. Clients of Partner Agencies must be able to receive food from the organization without paying a fee, performing a service, or attending a religious service/lecture.

To become a Partner Agency, the agency must meet specific requirements and complete the application process. You also will be asked to attend Agency Orientation, which includes food safety training, program overview, instructions for ordering food online, training on our client data tracking system, and a warehouse tour. After receiving the completed application and other required documentation, Second Harvest will conduct a site visit at your location to monitor where food will be stored and distributed, and to ensure food safety.  Applications are reviewed by a Second Harvest committee every other month, with Orientation sessions held on opposite months.
