Hunger Action Day was September 14th this year and Middle Tennessee marked the occasion in a number of ways.
The Department of Human Services sponsored a Hunger Awareness Walk that wound through downtown.
Our Volunteers and other visitors continued making plates.
And landmarks around Nashville lit up orange, which is the symbolic color of hunger awareness.
Thank you to everyone who participated and spread awareness about hunger in our communities.
