Music superstar Blake Shelton will headline the 12th annual Stars for Second Harvest benefit on Tuesday, June 7 at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium. The 2016 event is presented by O’Charley’s and hosted by Craig Wisemam, acclaimed songwriter and founder of Big Loud Records and Big Loud Shirt.

“Blake has always been a true friend and I’m ecstatic that he’s agreed to collaborate on making a difference in the lives of those struggling with hunger in Middle Tennessee by headlining this event and making it a party that our guests will never forget,” says Wiseman.

Last year was a record breaking year for the benefit. Craig Wiseman and Friends brought the audience to their feet over and over again in the newly remodeled Ryman Auditorium. The nearly sold out event raised more than $140,000. The 11-year total of almost $900,000 raised through the show has provided over 3.5 million meals to the one in seven Middle Tennesseans at risk of hunger.

“As a fellow songwriter, I couldn’t be happier to share the stage with some of the hottest songwriters in the business,” said Wiseman. “We promise to share stories, play some of our favorite hits and treat ticketholders to a memorable night.”

The annual event benefits Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee and will feature unplugged acoustic style performances by Kane Brown, Chris Lane, GRAMMY Award-winning songwriter Josh Osborne and songwriter/producer Shane McAnally.

Chris Lane has become one of country music’s popular newcomers. He has toured with heavy-hitters Florida Georgia Line, Nelly, Jerrod Niemann, Lee Brice and more. This summer he will join Rascal Flatts’ RHYTHM & ROOTS Tour.

Brown is headlining and selling out venues across the country touting a He will join headliners Florida Georgia Line on their 2016 DIG YOUR ROOTS Tour.

Shane McAnally is a multiple GRAMMY, CMA and ACM award winner and has written songs and produced albums with Kacey Musgraves (Same Trailer Different Park and Pageant Material), Sam Hunt (Montevallo), Old Dominion (Meat and Candy) and new albums by Jake Owen, Midland, Jo Smith and Walker Hayes.
