Setting The Table For The Future
We’ve made great progress in the fight against hunger over the last 40 years, but there are still 34 million meals missing from families’ tables in Middle Tennessee.
To close this gap, we launched our Capital Campaign to expand our operations and bring food to communities that need it most.
So far, we have increased capacity at our Nashville distribution center and established new branches in Rutherford and Benton County.
We are so close to meeting our fundraising goal that will allow us to close the meal gap—but we need your help.
During the Big Payback, our goal is to raise $50,000 for the Capital Campaign.
Now is your chance to help us close the meal gap and ensure that every elementary school child, single mom, out-of-work dad, and disabled senior receives the food they need to thrive.
Closing the meal gap is a BIG goal, but with your help on May 2, we can move one step closer to making it a reality.
How The Big Paybacks Work
For 24 hours beginning at midnight on May 2, 2019, visit https://www.thebigpayback.org/shfb and make a gift to Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.
Your donation will go directly toward our Capital Campaign, and makes us eligible to receive thousands of dollars in prizes from the Community Foundation, so we can expand our operations and feed more of our hungry neighbors!
Not able to donate on May 2? No problem! Beginning on Thursday, April 25, you can schedule your donation in advance by going to our Big Payback profile page and clicking the “Donate Now” button. Your scheduled donation will be processed on May 2.
