Their generosity and hands-on involvement have made a significant impact in the lives of our neighbors.
$1.7 Million in Donations and More
Since partnering with us, Amazon has donated an incredible $1.7 million to help us provide food and support to families across Middle Tennessee. In addition to financial contributions, Amazon has provided over 6.8 million pounds of food, helping us keep shelves stocked and meals on the table for thousands of individuals and families in need.
Making a Difference with Volunteerism and Home Deliveries
Amazon’s commitment to service doesn’t stop at donations. Over the years, 769 Amazon employees have contributed 2,310 volunteer hours, giving their time and energy to ensure that food reaches those who need it most.
In response to the challenges presented by the pandemic, Amazon stepped up even further with their Home Deliveries program, paying drivers to deliver food directly to the homes of our neighbors. Since 2020, they’ve delivered 29,961 boxes of food, providing much-needed relief to those facing transportation barriers.
Supporting Children and Families Year-Round
Amazon’s support of our BackPacks program has also made a tremendous difference. With over 284,100 backpacks distributed, children across our community have been able to access nutritious meals over the weekends, ensuring they’re ready to learn and thrive in school.
Additionally, through the School Pantry Food Box program, Amazon has helped provide over 18,551 boxes to students and their families. These boxes contain essential food items, ensuring that families have access to balanced, nutritious meals even outside of school hours.
