The 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville is teaming up with Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee to help fight hunger and feed hope in our community. We are looking for volunteers to donate their time and make the NFL Huddle Against Hunger Food Drive in Nashville and Middle Tennessee a success. Rally your team and support the cause!

Food drives help Second Harvest distribute more than 2 million pounds of food annually. These are donations made and collected by people like you! Even better, your food drive donation stays in the county where it’s collected, meaning you make a huge impact on your community.

Our most-needed items are:
Peanut Butter
Canned Meat (chicken or tuna)
Canned Vegetables
Canned Fruit

Want to join the NFL Huddle Against Hunger?
Step 1 – Get in the game

Register now as a food drive participant and join the huddle!

Once you’ve registered as a food drive participant, you’ll be contacted by Second Harvest staff to assist you with the details like getting boxes and making sure your food drive donations get to the right place.

Click here for more details about our food drive process. If you still have questions about registering, please email us.

Step 2 – Gear up

Collect your food drive boxes. On average, Second Harvest’s food drive boxes hold about 100 pounds of donated food. Here’s a list of locations and times for box pickup:

Apex Moving & Storage 3195 Franklin Limestone Road, Antioch, TN
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday

More locations coming soon…

Step 3 – Kickoff

Place your boxes in heavy foot traffic areas, and collect food like a champ. Urge people making donations to share the act of donating food on Twitter using #NFLHuddlefor100. For a chance to win prizes, encourage the use of #Sweepstakes, as well.

Step 4 – Take it to the end zone

Once your drive is over, let us know! We can help you get that food to people who need it most.

(Now go ahead and do a touchdown dance: You’ve earned it.)
