This Summer Twice Daily is Helping Children and Families Get the Food They Need

Twice Daily is partnering with Second Harvest to make this a Hunger Free Summer in Middle and West Tennessee

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused food insecurity for too many of our neighbors across Middle and West Tennessee – including children and families already struggling to access the food they need.

Twice Daily is partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee to ensure at-risk children and families receive much-need food assistance during these unprecedented times.

“At Twice Daily we believe in a corporate culture of giving back and building lasting relationships by supporting our community,” said Steve Hostetter, CEO of Twice Daily. “One way is through our support of Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee and the many local food banks it helps.”

This support is critical for Second Harvest, as the Food Bank has seen demand dramatically increase since the pandemic began this March. Feeding America projects 1 in 4 children in Second Harvest’s 46-county service area are currently at risk of hunger – a 40 percent increase as a result of COVID-19’s impact on Middle and West Tennessee families.

“The Hunger Free Summer campaign is a great way to support Second Harvest’s mission of providing meals to families in need. That’s why we are so proud to partner in this year’s campaign to create a hunger free summer for Middle Tennesseans through our own financial contributions,” said Hostetter.

Join Twice Daily and Second Harvest in making this a Hunger Free Summer for children and families in our community.
