We are still reflecting on the magic of this year’s Tapestry event! It was an unforgettable evening where we had the opportunity to showcase Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee’s incredible 46-year journey. This special night wasn’t just about celebrating the past, but also spotlighting the people and partners who have helped pave the way for a brighter future.
Thanks to your unwavering support, this year’s Tapestry event allowed us to provide 1.9 million meals to our neighbors who are facing hunger. Each meal represents hope, nourishment, and a step toward creating a hunger-free community where everyone has access to the food and resources they need to thrive.
Honoring 46 Years of Service
For over four decades, Second Harvest has been dedicated to fighting hunger in Middle and West Tennessee. Tapestry was a chance to reflect on the many milestones we’ve reached and the challenges we’ve overcome together. From the early days of serving just a handful of counties to now distributing millions of pounds of food to families, seniors, and children across the region, none of it would have been possible without the collective effort of our supporters.
Throughout the evening, we had the chance to share stories that highlight the impact of our work, from heartwarming tales of neighbors who received much-needed food assistance to stories of volunteers and donors whose generosity made it all possible. We also honored the trailblazers who set the foundation for our mission, and we look forward to continuing their legacy as we move into the future.
