The Mobile Market delivers fresh produce, dairy, and meat to food deserts. These communities lack direct access to grocery stores. The Mobile Market removes travel barriers so more people can get the food they need.

Ascend also provides financial literacy training at the Mobile Market. This equips families with the tools needed to build stability. Ascend and Second Harvest are helping families manage their future.

Ascend provided a 53-foot trailer that plays a critical role in our work. Providing food to 410,000 people facing hunger is a big logistical problem. Our three distribution centers and stat of the art social enterprise aren’t enough. We still need trucks to deliver the food. Their support helped us deliver an impressive 47.8 million pounds last year.
