What did Second Harvest do After Disaster Struck?

When disaster strikes, Second Harvest is here to help

In the wake of Milton and Helene, we have begun our relief efforts. We’re focused on providing food to impacted communities.

With 11 trucks of disaster boxes packed, we’ve delivered 613,856 meals. Almost 2000 volunteers made this happen by coming together in a time of need.

Each box includes shelf stable, ready to eat food. After a disaster, many are left without power. Sometimes there isn’t even a place to cook food.

These boxes provide foods made for those who may lack cooking tools or electricity.

We could not have done this without strong partners.

Aldi joined in a big way to help those in need.

Aldi packed over 1,000 boxes. That’s over 21,000 pounds of food for those in need. We are so grateful for their support during this hard time.

Without Brassfield and Gorrie, none of this would have been possible. They donated 44,788 pounds of food. They have made a lasting impact.

Thanks to Aldi and Brassfield and Gorrie. Now. more families can enjoy nourishing meals after facing disaster.

Together, we can help communities rebuild. Join us to make a difference.
